Students will be transported to from The Black College Expo via our School Site at Taft HS.

The Black College Expo provides a unique platform for high school seniors, juniors, and college transfer students to engage in one-on-one interactions with esteemed Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and a diverse array of other colleges and universities. This event is designed to help students succeed by offering comprehensive support in their journey towards higher education.

Here are some key highlights of the event:

Instant Acceptance: High school juniors and seniors can bring their transcripts and ACT/SAT test scores to get accepted on the spot, opening doors to their dream colleges and universities.

Seamless College Transfers: College transfer students have a fantastic opportunity to secure immediate acceptance by bringing their transcripts from all colleges attended, streamlining the transfer process.

Scholarships Galore: Attendees will have access to on-the-spot scholarship opportunities, ensuring financial assistance for their education.
Waived Application Fees: Many participating colleges and universities will waive application fees, making the college application process more accessible and affordable.

Exciting Career Prospects: Students can explore job and internship opportunities by connecting with renowned companies, shaping their future career paths.
Moreover, the Black College Expo isn't just an educational event—it's an experience. The After Show, that will feature captivating entertainment, $1000s in cash prizes, and a thrilling "Dance Off" for Cash $$$ hosted by celebrity guests.

This event is organized by the National College Resources Foundation (NCRF), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to closing the educational achievement gap and empowering underserved and underrepresented communities.
