On Monday, February 9 at 5:00 PM, Taft Charter High School held a virtual Zoom lottery for students who applied to the Affiliated Charter Program. Please note this lottery is not for the Gifted/Highly Gifted STEAM magnet. The Magnet application process is separate.

Grades 9–10: This is an informational webinar only. All on-time 9th and 10th Grade Applicants were selected.

Grades 11–12: A lottery was conducted.
Families of students in Grades 9 and 10 who submitted their Affiliated Charter Program application by the deadline have been accepted. Offer letters will be sent shortly. Students who applied after the deadline will be placed on a waiting list based on the date their application was received. These families will be contacted after mid-April.
Applications for the Academy of Integrated Arts and Technology, Humanitas Interdisciplinary Pierce Program, and the School for Advanced Studies will be available on our website. Students must first be accepted to Taft Charter High School as either a resident student or an affiliated charter non-resident student before being considered for any special program. Applications to these programs will remain pending until enrollment is confirmed.
Prospective students who applied during the late application period will be placed on the waiting list in the order their applications were received.
