Principal Yu brings with her over 28 years of devoted service to the Taft Charter High School community. Her long-standing dedication to Taft is a reflection of her deep love for the school and its students. Throughout her tenure, she has taken on a variety of key leadership roles—including Math Department Chair, Magnet Coordinator, and Assistant Principal—each one highlighting her passion for education and her unwavering commitment to student success and school excellence.
Her extensive experience, deep-rooted connection to the Taft community, and heartfelt commitment make her uniquely equipped to lead our school into an exciting new era. Taft is not just where she works—it’s where she has built her life’s work.
