School Experience Survey: Your Voice Matters
The SES is a confidential survey provided by the Los Angeles Unified School District that gives parents, students, and staff the opportunity to reflect on their school experience. Your feedback helps our school understand what is working well and where we can continue to grow in areas such as school climate, communication, safety, and student support.
Why Parent Participation Is Important
Parent responses play a critical role in shaping school decisions and future planning. The information collected through the SES is reviewed by school leadership and used to guide improvement efforts, strengthen programs, and ensure that family perspectives are included in the process.
Simply put, your voice helps us make Taft an even better place for students to learn and thrive.
Survey Window and Important Dates
The Parent School Experience Survey will be open from:
February 2 through March 20
Parents will receive a confirmation email after completing the survey. This confirmation helps us track participation and support schoolwide incentives for students.
Student Incentives to Support Parent Participation
To encourage strong parent participation, Taft is partnering with students and teachers during this campaign.

Students may submit their parent confirmation email to their Period 4 teacher or by emailing the confirmation to [email protected].

Period 4 classes with 100 percent parent participation will earn an extended lunch period.

Five students from each grade level will be randomly selected to receive additional incentives.
These incentives help motivate students to engage families while reinforcing the importance of family voice in our school community.

It only takes a few minutes to complete, and all responses are confidential.
