Greetings Taft Families,
As we prepare for the new school year, we would like to remind you of changes in the Registration and Class Change Request procedures. Taft CHS will host a Counseling Day for students in grades 10th –12th on Wednesday, August 5th from 8:30am - 3:30pm.
Students in grades 10th –12th may attend Counseling Day on August 5th to speak with their counselor regarding schedule questions or concerns. If you are unable to attend in person, you may make your request using the QR Code (see in flyer below) which will be available from Aug. 5th - Aug. 7th ONLY. The first day of school is August 12th and you will receive your final schedule in Period 1. At that point, changes will only be made for updated transcripts, sports rosters, and balancing so classes may hit the ground running!
As a reminder, no class changes will be made for teacher preference. If you did not get a class you requested, it is most likely due to a schedule conflict or the course was full so you we did our best to honor one of your other choices.
