Volunteers Needed: Help Our School

Volunteers Needed

Every helping hand makes a difference! Taft Charter High School is looking for parents and community members interested in volunteering and supporting our students and school community.

Volunteers can begin the application process online or in person at the Parent Center. Volunteers are required to provide TB test results and complete a background check as part of the volunteer process.

Free TB Screening Event

To help make the volunteer application process easier, a free TB screening will be available onsite for new volunteers and volunteers whose TB clearance will expire during the 2026–27 school year.

Tuesday, September 1, 2026
5:00–6:30 p.m.
Woodland Hills Academy
20800 Burbank Blvd.
Woodland Hills, CA 91367

Before attending the screening, volunteers must carefully review the TB Questionnaire. If a volunteer answers yes to any of the questions, additional testing with a doctor will be required, and certification cannot be completed at this event.

Please note: This TB screening event is for volunteers only. The certification provided through this event does not satisfy the LAUSD employee TB clearance requirement. LAUSD employees must schedule an appointment with their primary physician.

Sign Up to Volunteer

Volunteers can complete the application online or visit the Parent Center for assistance.
