KYDS Program
The Taft KYDS (Keep Youth Doing Something) Program provides students with a wide range of free before- and after-school opportunities designed to support academic success, build new skills, encourage creativity, promote wellness, and help students stay connected to the Taft community.
KYDS offers students a safe and supportive environment before and after the regular school day. Students can participate in academic support, enrichment activities, recreation, technology, fitness, and special-interest programs throughout the week.
Current KYDS opportunities include:
- Tutoring and academic support
- Driver’s Education
- Robotics
- Esports
- Dungeons & Dragons
- Arts & Crafts
- Weight Training
- Daily KYDS Drop-In activities
- Additional activities and special events throughout the school year
Program availability may change during the school year, and additional activities may be added based on student interest and staffing.
