About Me
I graduated from the University of California Davis in 2018, where I studied English. During my undergraduate studies, I emphasized in creative writing and interned with the Poetry in Davis reading series. After college, I spent one year working as an AmeriCorps service member in South Sacramento. After that, I returned to Southern California and earned my teaching credential at California State University Northridge. On the weekends, I volunteer part time with an LA based organization that addresses water insecurity in Skid Row. I strive to create a classroom environment that is creative and collaborative, and makes all students feel welcomed and celebrated.
