About Mr. Hess

Mr. Hess attended high school in Phoenix.  He was a national merit scholar, meaning he is good at taking tests.  He got a double major in economics and history.  He studied abroad in China.  Yes, he can speak mandarin.  No, he will not prove this.  

 

He began teaching in Los Angeles in 2005.  He got a master's degree in special educaiton from CSUDH and a masters in educational leadership from CSUN.  He began teaching at Taft in fall of 2016, where he coteaches math, history and science in the AIAT program.  

 

Mr. Hess enjoys television, video games, cooking, hiking, baseball, and compliant students.
