A California native, I earned my BS in Biology from the University of Puget Sound. In 2005, I earned my teaching credential from California State University, Northridge, and began my educational career at Van Nuys HS in 2003 teaching Biology. I took on the role of Magnet Coordinator in 2012.  I earned my MA in Education and Preliminary Administrative Credential from California State University, Northridge in 2016 and joined the school administration team in 2022. I am passionate about education and supporting students to achieve excellence.  As Assistant Principal, I look forward to serving both teachers and students at Taft High School.

I currently reside in Santa Clarita, with my husband and two kids.  I enjoy hikes, puzzles, and binging new shows.  My favorite way to spend time is watching my daughter play tennis and cheering on my son playing baseball!
