The School Experience Survey gives parents a quick, confidential way to share feedback and help guide improvements at Taft Charter High School.

The College Office is hosting multiple workshops to help seniors and their families complete the FAFSA or CADAA, which is a required step for California graduation.

Open House will follow a set bell schedule so please follow your student's class schedule. Parents are invited to Welcome Meeting in the Big Gym. Magnet and SAS Parents meet @ 5:45pm and all other Parents starting at 6:00pm. See you there!

9th, 10th & 11th grade Toreadors,
You may only submit ONE Google Form, therefore spend time reviewing and discussing your options before completing the form. One and Done!
YOU MUST USE YOUR LAUSD EMAIL. Follow these steps:
Review the Course Presentations.
Use your grade level Planning Sheet
Review all Course Descriptions in the Academic Fair Presentation 2026.
When you are absolutely ready to submit your Google Form, select the correct link from the 2026-2027 Course Request Links

AP courses are college-level classes taught in high school. These are rigorous courses that demand extra time and commitment. Taft CHS has one of the largest AP programs with one of the top overall pass rates in LAUSD. Our students are not only taking more exams but they are passing them, demonstrating mastery of the material and readiness for college level work. Join us to learn more!

Talk to teachers, learn about Honors vs AP courses, find out what amazing CTE and Elective classes you can take at Taft! Pick up a Scavenger Hunt card from the Counseling Team table and collect 4 or more stamps for a prize. See you there!
